This petition has been filed by the petitioner to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No. 836 of 2022 dated 12.01.2022.
2. This Court on 12.01.2022, while granting bail to the petitioner imposed a condition that the petitioner should deposit a sum of Rs. 20 lakhs to the credit of the Crime No. 175 of 2021 within a period of two weeks.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the above stated condition was not complied by the petitioner.
4. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that due to Covid situation and other reasons, the petitioner was not able to deposit Rs.20 lakhs. He further states that he is having two Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- each drawn in favour of CMM Egmore which he will deposit in a day or two and the balance amount of Rs.10,00,000/- will be deposited on or before 16.03.2022.
5. Taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, time extended till 16.03.2022 for depositing the entire amount of 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN.J, Sma/rgm Rs.20,00,000/- as directed by this Court, with a condition that no further extension of time will be granted failing which, the bail granted will stands canceled automatically.
