PRAYER: Criminal Revision petition has been filed under Sections 397 and 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to set aside the order in Crl.M.P.No.138 of 2018 dated 06.03.2018 in S.C.No.335 of 2017 on the file of the Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Salem, pending disposal of the Criminal revision before this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crl.M.P.No.138 of 2018 dated 06.03.2018 in S.C.No.335 of 2017 on the file of the Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Salem. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Law Enforcing Agency has implicated the petitioner for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 352, 417, 376(1), 506(i) IPC. After the investigation, the respondent police has also filed charge sheet and the Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Salem assigned S.C.No.335 of 2017. After assigning the S.C.No.335 of 2017, the petitioner herein has filed discharge petition in Crl.M.P.No.138 of 2018. After elaborate trial, the learned Sessions Judge dismissed the discharge petition, as against which the present Criminal Revision Petition has been preferred. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned counsel for the Revision petitioner further submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice that this Court directs the trial court to complete the trial in S.C.No.335 of 2017 within a stipulated time, permitting the petitioner to raise the several grounds available to him before the Trial Court.

5.Accepting the submissions, without gong into the merits of the case, this Court directs the Trial Court to complete the trial in S.C.No.335 of 2017 within a period of 12 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.In view of the above direction, this Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
