ORDER
By way of filing these writ petitions, the petitioner seeks to direct the respondents 1 and 2/Pondicherry, Electricity Department, to restore the electricity supply to his shops bearing S.Nos.114 and 116 of Pillayarkuppam.
2. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submitted that the third respondent is the landlord of the shops in question. When the petitioner had filed a suit in O.S.No.7 of 2012 seeking permanent injunction, the learned II Additional District Judge, Puducherry, had also granted interim injunction on 23.05.2012. Subsequently, it is stated, the first respondent had restored the electricity service connection to the shops in question of the petitioner. The said submission is recorded.
3. As the first respondent had already restored the electricity service connection to the shops in question of the petitioner, nothing survive in the present writ petitions and accordingly, the writ petitions stand closed as infructuous. No Costs.
