ORDER

The civil revision petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned VII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the OS.No.2283 of 2025.

2. The petitioners herein filed a suit for ejectment against the respondent. Since the respondent failed to enter appearance in response to the suit summon, he was set exparte on 25-06-2025. It is further seen from the e-court status that PW1 was examined and documents were marked on 07-07-2025. Then, the arguments were heard on 11-07-2025 and the matter was posted for hearing on

31-07-2025. Thereafter, on 07-08-2025, the matter was reopened for certain clarification. Subsequently, the matter was adjourned to 16-10-2025 for fresh arguments. Thereafter, there is no substantial progress in the matter. Till date, the suit is simply adjourned for arguments without any progress.

3. Taking into consideration the original arguments were heard nearly six months back, this Court is inclined to direct the trial court to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible. In the event of filing of any application seeking to set aside the ex-parte order, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with the law.

4. With this direction, the civil revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
