Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from interfering with the petitioner's property for laying road or disturbing the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment in respect of the patta property in 192/2A in Polambakkam Village and Post, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from interfering with the petitioner's property for laying road or disturbing the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment in respect of the patta property in 192/2A in Polambakkam Village and Post, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mrs. A. Srijeyanthi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 5 and 7 submitted that she got instructions to the effect that the respondents 5 and 7 have no proposal to lay the road in the petitioner's patta land in Survey No.192/2A. Further, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that if the respondents proposed to lay the road in the subject land, the same would be done only in accordance with law.

3. Mr.S. Kumaresan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 5 and 7, the Writ Petition may be closed.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, recording the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 5 and 7, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
