JUDGMENT

The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the appellant, submits that the appellant does not want to press the appeal on merit at this stage, as the Departmental Enquiry is already over. a direction may be issued to the Disciplinary Authority to pass an order on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents - State, submits that if it is so, an appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, shall be passed by such authority as expeditiously as possible, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.In view of the foregoing, the writ appeal, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
