..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the claims of the petitioners and pass orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 05.06.2013 in regard to regularise the service of the petitioners from the date of initial appointment as given to others in G.O.Ms.No.123, School Education (R1) Department dated 17.08.2011 and extend the benefits of the said

Government Order to the petitioners also.

O R D E R

The petitioners made a claim to regularise their services with effect from the date of their initial appointment in the light of similar indulgence given to other employees vide order in G.O.Ms.No.123, School Education (R1) Department dated 17.08.2011. Even though a representation to that effect was given on 05.06.2013, there was no follow up action taken by the first respondent. The petitioners are therefore, before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners on 05.06.2013 on merits and as per law, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.123, School Education (R1) Department dated 17.08.2011. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
