ORDER
(The Case has been heard through Video Conference) This petition has been filed, seeking to issue appropriate direction to the 1st respondent police to change the investigation from 2nd respondent to some other diligent crime investigation team for speedy investigation and retrieve the lost of Thali Chain from the culprits, in Crime No.626/2017, dated 10.03.2017 and investigate into the same and proceed in accordance with law within the time to be prescribed by this Court.
2.Mr.V.Ramana Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the case relates to snatching of Thali Chain. The petitioner is working as a teacher and her https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Thali Chain was snatched by the culprits, for which, the petitioner filed a case in Crime No.626/2017 dated 10.03.2017. Though the CCTV camera was fitted in and around the area, however, the law enforcing agency had not secured the CCTV footages and further the petitioner herself secured all the CCTV footages and handed over to the law enforcing agency. However, the law enforcing agency had not taken any action to complete the investigation and arrested the accused and recovered the thefted articles so far. Hence, the petitioner seeks to issue appropriate direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and secure the accused.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the investigation is still pending. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances and the submissions now made by both sides, this Court directs the respondents to complete the investigation and secure the accused persons within the period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
