Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records in pursuant to the impugned letter issued by the 1st respondent in letter No. 3(3)/76396/02 dated 30.12.2002 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to fix the seniority of the applicant in the post of Assistant in appropriate place and also to direct the respondents to promote the applicant to the post of Superintendent the date on which his immediate junior was promoted and to grant all monetary and service benefits to the applicant.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition the Government issued proceedings Nos.S 3(1)/76396/2001-1 and S 3 (1)/76396/2001-2, dated 30.11.2020, respectively and fixed the seniority of the petitioner in the post of Assistant and he was also promoted. been extended to the petitioner.
2. In the light of the above submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court directs the respondents to extend all monetary benefits to the petitioner based on the proceedings Nos.S 3(1)/76396/2001-1 and S 3(1)/ 76396/2001-2, dated 30.11.2020. Such exercise shall be completed within a period six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
