O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to transfer the Crime No.350 of 2014 on the file of the 3rd respondent to some other investigation officer for to investigate the matter expedite in accordance with law.

2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No.350 of 2014 is pending on the file of the respondent police. Now, almost five years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3. However, considering that the crime is of the year 2014, the 3rd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.350 of 2014 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
