ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorari calling for the records of the second respondent herein made in PR.4/P1/S.A/Thanjai/2011, Range Order No.15/2011 dated 07.05.2011 and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the writ petition has been filed challenging the punishment of reduction in pay scale of the petitioner for a period of two years with cumulative effect. However, the petitioner was removed from service by imposing capital punishment. Therefore, the impugned order does not have impact, since already he was removed from service. Thus, the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.
