Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner died. However, the learned Additional Advocate General would submit that the Tahsildar, Tiruvottiyur, conducted an inspection along with the Assistant Commissioner of Chennai Corporation and found that the property is a private land. However, unauthorised constructions are identified in respect of construction of building. Anyhow, further action on the construction is unconnected with the writ petition, which is to be done by following the procedures as contemplated under law.
2. As far as the present writ petition is concerned, the land is identified as a private land and therefore, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
