(Order of the Court made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) Petitioner, who is the mother of the detenue Vidhyalakshmi, aged 22 years, has filed this petition seeking a direction to respondent to cause production of her daughter before this Court.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent.

3. The alleged detenue has been produced before this Court. Petitioner is also present. On enquiry, the detenue Vidhyalakshmi stated that she is a major and she married one Jeevakannan, who is also present before this Court and expressed her willingness to go along with her husband. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. While learned counsel for petitioner submits that the said Jeevakannan has already married another woman, the petitioner, who is present before this Court, submits that the said Jeevakannan has not married anybody, but he is having some illicit relationship with another woman. This Court is of the view that these issues cannot be gone into in a writ petition. Recording the submission made by the alleged detenues that there is no illegal detention by anybody, this petition is closed as nothing further remains to be considered in this petition. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum seeking her remedy.
