W.P.No.23218 of 2010 : Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to give effect to the merit selection of the first respondent provisionally selecting/allotting in favour of the petitioner for undergoing the first year M.B.B.S. Course offered by it for the academic year 2010-2011 by accepting the prescribed fee and to allow the petitioner to continue and complete his M.B.B.S. Course.

The learned counsel for the appellant on instructions submitted that nothing survives for adjudication on account of the subsequent events. We have also heard the learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondicherry) on behalf of the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry.

2. In view of the submission made, the intra court appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
