MAHADEVAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.1506 of 2020 in CRL.R.C.No.980 OF 2019 JOHN MATHEW [ PETITIONER ] Vs RAMALINGAM [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extention of time for executing the bail bond in Crl.R.C.No.980/2019 order on 25.09.2019. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.D.SREENIVASAN, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:- While granting suspension of sentence, this Court passed a conditional order dated 25.09.2019 to deposit a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Claiming financial constrains, the petitioner sought for time extension and this Court, by order dated 02.12.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.17875/2019 extended the time till 16.12.2019 to deposit such amount. As directed, the petitioner remitted the said amount and produced a copy of the payment receipt. Now the present Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking extension of time to execute the bail bond before the trial court.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the matter, time to execute the bail bond before the trial court, is extended by two weeks from today. It is made clear that the other conditions imposed in the earlier order dated 25.9.2019 shall remain unaltered.

3. This Crl.M.P. is ordered accordingly.
