ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to file status report based on the order passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate for Exclusive Trial of CCB Cases (Relating to Cheating Cases in Chennai) and CBCID Metro Cases, Egmore, Chennai in CRl.M.P.No.47777/2023 dated 03.08.2024 by considering the representation submitted by Petitioner dated 04.11.2024 by fixing time limit for further appropriate action against accused persons mentioned in the representation.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted and closed as mistake of fact in Crime No.186 of 2022. On the protest petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.47777 of 2023, the learned Magistrate passed an order dated 03.08.2024, thereby allowed the protest petition and

rejected the final report filed by the second respondent. It was further directed to appoint a new investigation Officer for further investigation in Crime No.186 of 2022.

4. As directed by the learned Magistrate, now the investigation is under progress by the new Investigation Officer of the second respondent in Crime No.186 of 2022.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.186 of 2022 and file a final report, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition petition is disposed of. No costs.
