This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 397 days in filing the above appeal against the award dated 28.06.2024 made in M.C.O.P.No.283 of 2012 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, I Additional District Court, Namakkal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Though notice has been served and the names of the respondents are printed in the cause list, there is no representation on behalf of the respondents.

4. As the reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition as well as the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner are found to be satisfactory, this civil miscellaneous petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 397 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioner will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 397 days, in the appeal.

5. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
