ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.19 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Poonamallee and quash the same.

2. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The respondent police registered a case against this petitioner and another accused in Crime No.13 of 2012. The respondent investigated the matter and laid a charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Poonamallee and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.19 of 2013. During pendency of the Calendar Case, the petitioner herein/A2 filed this present petition seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.19 of 2013.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the main case in C.C.No.19 of 2013 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, 1/2

Poonamallee, itself is disposed of on merits on 20.03.2019.

5. Since the main case in C.C.No.19 of 2013 itself is disposed of on merits, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
