Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, Directing the respondents 2 and 3 herein, to conduct survey and demarcate the lands of the petitioner situated in S.No. 105/ 8A Mudiyanur village, Kallakurichi Registration District, by considering the petitioners application No. 2024/ 0105/ 33/ 500791 dated 24.07.2024. 1/5

O R D E R

The above Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 herein, to conduct survey and demarcate the lands of the petitioner situate in S.No.105/8 at Mudiyanur village, Kallakurichi Registration District, by considering the petitioner's application No.2024/ 0105/ 33/ 500791 dated 24.07.2024.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite making an application on 27.0.2024, the respondents have not taken any steps to survey the land in question.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGP accepting notice for respondents 1 to 3.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and as the petitioner's application dated 27.04.2024 has not been considered to 2/5

date, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the petitioner's application and conduct survey of the subject property. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show her title to the property and the respondents 2 and 3 shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
