ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.15352 of 2016, by order dated 03.10.2016, directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner in the light of the judgement of the Division Bench of this Court dated 27.02.2015 made in W.A.No.803 of 2013 (The Director of Elementary Education, College Road, and another Vs. K.Nedumaran) and to pass appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law,within a period of six weeks.

this Court, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate, by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 06.09.2017 issued by the 1st respondent, submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondents. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court, the name of the petitioner was included in the list as on 01.01.2013, however, the petitioner is not granted any promotion by the respondents.

5.But, this Court is of the view that since the name of the petitioner has been included in the list as per the order of this Court, nothing survives in this contempt petition. If the petitioner has any grievance, he is at liberty to seek his further remedy by filing fresh writ petition. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed.
