Respondents [R4 suo motu impleaded by this Court vide order dated 03.02.2023] PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to get statement copy from respondents 3 to 5 regarding the deduction amount of loan installment and interest from the petitioner salary and to remit the same to the first respondent's society towards recovery of loan by considering the representation dated 08.12.2022 made by the petitioner within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to get the statement from respondents 3 to 5 regarding the deduction of the loan amount and interest from the salary of the petitioner and to furnish the same to the first respondent Society towards the recovery of loan.

2. Heard Mr.P.Ganesan, learned counsel for petitioner, Ms.P.Raja Rajeswari, learned Government Advocate, appearing for first respondent and Mr.Ru.Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 2 to 5.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he had taken a loan from the first respondent Society and deduction is being made every month without fail from the salary towards principal and interest. The petitioner found to his surprise that the first respondent was demanding a sum of Rs.10,18,345/- and a letter to that effect was also given to the third respondent on 18.11.2022. According to the petitioner, he has been requesting the respondents 1 and 2 to give the details of the amount that has been deducted from the salary from 2008 onwards and the details were only furnished to the fourth respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. In the considered view of this Court, writ jurisdiction cannot be exercised for getting information from one authority and conveying it to the petitioner. If the petitioner is not able to get information from the 3/6

respondents 1 and 2, he has either to approach under the Right to Information Act or he must get the information from the fourth respondent School by way of making a representation to them. Except giving this liberty, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
