The present writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to change the patta in the name of the petitioner after considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2021 within a reasonable time.
2.The case of the petitioner is that in the year 2017, the petitioner's father purchased an agricultural punja land situated at Thakkolam Village comprised in Survey No.476/2B2 to an extent of 2.75 acres from one Ester through a registered sale deed vide Document No.3213 if 2017 dated 1.12.2017 at SubRegister Office, Arakkonam and the petitioner's father died on 28.11.2020. On the basis of the sale deed, the petitioner made a representation dated 23.04.2021 to the respondents to change the patta in his name as per the Patta Pass Book Act, but till date the same was not considered. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court seeking the above said prayer.

3. The leanred counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider
the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2021 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made on either side, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
