Writ Appeal filed under clause 15 of Letters Patent against the order dated 09.12.2014 made in W.P.No.9585 of 2013. Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Declaration to declare the rejection of the application of the petitioner and preventing the petitioner from participating in the interview and thereby denying appointment to the petitioner is illegal and invalid and consequently to direct the respondent to consider and appoint the applicant to the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor Grade II with all other consequential benefits.

JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by HULUVADI G. RAMESH,J.) Heard Mr.Vijay Narayan, learned Senior counsel appearing for the appellant and Ms.C.N.G.Niraimadhi, learned counsel for the respondent.

2. The learned Senior counsel appearing for the appellant, fairly submitted that as per the Cut-Off marks for General Turn (Women) category for admission to the Oral Test to the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade-II, in the Tamil Nadu General https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Service, 2010-2011, it is 173.50 for selection and the appellant is stated to have secured 165.50 marks and therefore, she being a General Turn (Women) candidate, could not be called for interview.

3. We have considered the above submission and we also perused the records in connection with marks obtained by other candidates coming under General Turn (Women) category and we find no interference in the order of the learned Single Judge. Accordingly, recording the submission made by the learned Senior counsel appearing for the appellant, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected MP is closed.
