Mr.M.Elumalai, Govt. Advocate in both the Contempt Petitions COMMON ORDER Alleging that the order of status quo passed by this Court has been wilfully disobeyed by passing orders contrary to it, the present contempt petitions have been filed.

2.An affidavit has been filed by the respondent making the following averments:

"7.It is humbly submitted that immediately on receipt of the memorandum from the District Revenue Officer, Perambalur, I have through U.O. Note in Rc.A2/994/2017 dated 11.10.2017 has directed the Village Administrative Officer, Perambalur (North), to restore the status quo ante in this subject matter. The Village Administrative Officer, Perambalur was directed to effect mutation of Perambalur (North) Village survey No.327/24, admeasuring an extent of 0.01.91 hectare and Survey No.327/4B1A3 in an extent of 0.03.80 hectare in the name of earlier said Marimuthu and also the Perambalur (North) Village Survey No.327/4B1A2, admeasuring an extent of 0.05.67 hectare in favour of the petitioner (A.Periyasamy, S/o.Aravandi Pillai) in the revenue records. Accordingly the demised property has been changed in the name of petitioner in the revenue records in Patta No.4800 and to this effect the downloaded details as on 28.10.2017 is also submitted in the typed set."

3.Thus, the respondent has restored the status quo ante after coming to know of the order passed by this

Court. In such view of the matter, the contempt petitions stand closed.
