ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members in connection with Crime No. not known of 2015 on the file of the second respondent police Palladam Police Station, Tiruppur District, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in respect of missing of Lorry, the petitioner has been frequently called and harassed by the respondent police. 4.In my considered opinion, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner could be given. If the petitioner is wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, he can very well be summoned by the respondent police and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. should submit himself to the respondent for interrogation and enquiry. It is made clear that this order will not shield if the petitioner is involved in cognizable offence. 5.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
