ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this petition to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members in connection with Crime No.not known of 2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint dated 15.04.2015 lodged by Ms.Sidhammal, a petition enquiry is being conducted by the 2nd respondent police. 4.In my considered opinion, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner could be given. If the petitioner is wanted either https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
for enquiry or for interrogation, he can very well be summoned by the respondent police, and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioner should submit himself to the respondent police for interrogation and enquiry. It is made clear that this order will not shield if the petitioner is involved in cognizable offence.
With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
