ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2024, and reminder dated 15.10.2025 and consequently, direct the 3rd respondent to settle the reduction of salary from March 2011 to till date.
2. Ms.Sharadha Vivek, learned Additional Government Pleader, Puducherry takes notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was initially appointed as a Helper through Employment Exchange on 26.04.1999 in the third respondent Company. Subsequently, he was promoted to the post of Assistant Manager (Civil) on 17.05.2003 with the pay scale of Rs.4000-100-6000. While so, the Government of Puducherry, vide G.O.Ms.No.15, Local Admn. & Public Works Dept. (Public Works Wing), upgraded the pay band to Rs.5,000-1508,000. Subsequently, the petitioner was transferred to Karaikal and was under suspension by the second respondent, through an order dated 27.05.2013. While that being so, the third respondent, vide order dated 27.05.2011, rescinded the upgradation of the pay band and revised the pay with effect from 01.01.2006. Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner made several representations from time to time, the latest representation dated 12.12.2024. However, the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner has preferred the present Writ Petition.
4. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the third respondent to settle the
reduction of salary from the month of March 2011 to till date, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2024 on merits and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties.
7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
