The petitioner/second accused who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 6(1)(a), 7(1)(a) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 in Crime No.235 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. It is the case of the prosecution that on 03.07.2023, the respondent raided Rajan Lodge and rescued two women, who were used for prostitution. The petitioner herein is the owner of the lodge. It is stated that A2 and A3 were arrested and released on bail. But as the owner of the Lodge, if the petitioner had taken care, the entire offence would not have happened.
3. The earlier application seeking anticipatory bail was dismissed on 24.11.2023 in Crl.O.P.No. 26706 of 2023.
4. Status report has been filed by the respondent wherein they had stated about the previous case against the petitioner under the very same provisions. The investigation could not proceed owing to the absence of the petitioner.

5. Taking all the factors into consideration, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Petition stands dismissed.
