Crl.O.P.No.10764 of 2016 V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.

The petitioner, who is the sole accused, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.04.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under 294(b), 506(ii) and 307 of IPC in Crime No.46 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has assaulted the defacto complainant with knife and thereby caused injuries, resulting in the registration of the case.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the injured has been discharged from the hospital. He has also submitted that the petitioner is not involved in any previous cases.

4.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and the period of incarceration of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

mrp/nvi 5.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] with two sureties each for a like sum, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Mannargudi and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. 12.05.2016 mrp/nvi Crl.O.P.No.10764 of 2016
