The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the first respondent in the G.O.Ms.No.166, School Education Department dated 07.06.1999 and consequential order passed by the 3rd and 4th respondents in the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.6754/Aa2/06 dated 03.01.2007 and Na.Ka.No.3830/A5/1412-2006 and quash the same and direct the respondent to give promotion to the petitioners as per Rule 36(a) of General Rules for Tamil Nadu State & Subordinate Services, to the post of Headmaster of Middle School and confer all consequential benefits.

2. The writ petition filed by the other candidate with similar prayer in W.P.No.15794 of 2013 has been dismissed by this Court, vide order dated 05.02.2020. The said order will govern this writ petition also. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
