This petition has been filed to quash in M.C.No.14 of 2014 on the file of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate cum Revenue Divisional Officer .

2. The petitioner filed this petition to challenge the show cause notice issued against him under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. The said notice was issued in the month of February, 2015. The period for the proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. is only for one year. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous. 3.Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
