ORDER

Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.1072 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 123 of BNS r/w Section 24(1) of COTPA Act, the present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police arrested the accused for the illegal possession of 14 Kg. of banned Tobacco products. 4.The case of the prosecution as putforth by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposing for grant of anticipatory bail, is that the respondent police arrested the accused for the illegal possession of Tobacco products weighing 14 Kgs. A1 has been arrested in this case and confession statement has been recorded. He would further submit that there are four previous cases pending as against the petitioner.

5.Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record.

6. Taking into consideration of the facts and submissions made by the learned Government Advocate and also considering the fact that the earlier petition was dismissed since the petitioner has four previous cases and having found that he is wasting the Court's time, the petitioner is directed to pay the cost of Rs.5,000/- to the

Chief Justice Relief Fund within a period of four(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner .
