ORDER

This Criminal revision petition has been filed seeking to set aside the order dated 12.04.2018 passed by the learned V Additional Family Court, Chennai in M.P.No.172 of 2018 in M.C.No.125 of 2017 is and by which the interim maintenance has been filed.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on records.

3. The petitioner/husband would contend that the respondent/wife preferred the maintenance petition on the ground that she is not employed and sought for Rs.1,00,000/- as interim maintenance and after trial, a sum of Rs.20,000/- has been awarded.

4. However, on the date of passing order i.e., on 12.04.2018, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondent/wife is employed and she is getting a considerable amount as monthly salarly.

5. The learned counsel for the respondent/wife disputed the said fact. However, in the interest of justice the petitioner is directed to pay the interim maintenance of Rs.10,000/- together with the arrears of maintenance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

calculated at the rate of Rs.10,000/-, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned V Additional Family Court, shall record the amount in M.P.No.172 of 2018 in M.C.No.125 of 2017.

6. The parties are directed to co-operate with the disposal of the case and the parties are at liberty to adduce additional evidence, if they choses to do so. The Trial Court, shall completed the case within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
