The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to shift the transformer now standing in front of petitioner's shop land and re-install the same as decided by the 1st respondent during his personal visit and inspection on 28.02.2011.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction issued to the respondent Electricity Board to consider the application dated 29.12.2010, within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondent Board to consider the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders in the application of the petitioner dated 29.12.2010, the 1st respondent conducted an enquiry, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner.
5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
