ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to issue sub-division patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. A joint patta has been issued in the name of the petitioner and the 2nd respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioner seeks for issuance of sub-division patta in the name of the petitioner. She had submitted an application on 28.11.2025 with the 1st respondent. Since the said application was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent. Since no adverse orders are passed Page No.2 of 6

against the 2nd respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 2nd respondent is dispensed with.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's application as state supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 2nd respondent and any third party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's online application, dated 28.11.2025 seeking for issuance of sub-division patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from the 2nd respondent, the neighbouring land owners Page No.3 of 6

as well as any other party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
