ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to dispose of the T.D.P.Case No.5/ 2024 pending before the Learned Tribunal for Disciplinary proceedings the respondent herein.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was selected as District Educational Officer in the year 2008. Whileso, the petitioner was issued with a charge memo dated 04.09.2024 in T.D.P.Case No.5/2024, alleging that she was in possession of Rs.66,300/- as bribe. During the pendency of the above case, seniority list was issued by the School Education Department dated 12.07.2023, in which, the petitioner was third most junior among the seven candidates, however, the petitioner's junior was appointed to the post of Joint Director, since the said TDP case was pending against the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner is seeking for disposal of the above case. Accordingly, this writ petition is filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, issues the following directions:

(i) The petitioner is directed to send a representation to the respondent seeking speedy disposal of the above said TDP Case, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

(ii) On such receipt, the respondent is directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, within a period of six (6) weeks thereof.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
