ORDER

The prayer made in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 08.10.2014 given by the petitioner in person with a request to afford a suitable job within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is a contract labourer in the office of the second respondent in the construction Division from 21.04.1997 and is working without any break of service and without any adverse remarks. In the course of such employment, he met with an accident on 02.07.2000. After taking treatment and after getting completely cured from the injuries, he joined in the office of the second respondent. However, the second respondent has not permitted the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to continue in service and sent him out of service. Though the petitioner has repeatedly approached the respondents with a request to provide him a suitable job, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the Chief Minister's Grievance Cell. Thereafter, he approached the second respondent and personally made a representation dated 08.10.2014 with all the particulars. In spite of the same, till date, no enquiry was conducted and no order has been passed by the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the present writ petition for the above stated relief.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.10.2014 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
