PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.08.2015 and reminder dated 09.02.2016 and thereby direct the 3rd respondent to grant planning permission to the petitioner to construct house in Block No.27, Town Survey No.915, Pudhupalliyam Village, Cuddalore Taluk and District to extent of 2,520sq.ft without any further delay.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.08.2015 and reminder dated 09.02.2016 and thereby direct the 3rd respondent to grant planning permission to the petitioner to construct house in Block No.27, Town Survey No.915, Pudhupalliyam Village, Cuddalore Taluk and District to extent of 2,520 sq.ft without any further delay.

2. The grievances of the petitioner is that she submitted an application for grant of building plan approval and the said application was not considered. However, the writ petition was filed in the year 2016. It is not made clear, whether such an approval was granted or not as of now. It is needless to state that if the application is filed in accordance with law, satisfying all the requirements of law, then the said application is to be considered by the competent authority.

3. In the case of the petitioner, if the application is still pending and any such application filed is in accordance with law, then it is to be considered by following the procedures as contemplated.

4. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
