Perused the counter filed by the respondent and heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

2. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that more than 35,000 witnesses are to be examined and so far, only 10,000 and odd witnesses were examined and therefore, it may take some more time for the prosecution to complete the investigation and submit a final report.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the enquiry is pending from the year 2008 and unless final report is filed, they cannot proceed with the matter.

4. Considering the counter filed by the respondent and submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and considering that more than 35,000 witnesses are to be examined, the direction sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered at this stage. investigation as early as possible.
