Respondent Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 03.03.2022 in W.P.No.4559 of 2022. The petitioner, alleging non-compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 03.03.2022 in W.P.No.4559 of 2022, has filed the present contempt petition.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent submitted that in pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the respondent has prepared the revised seniority list and forwarded to the Government for approval, vide communication dated 13.07.2023 and the same is awaited and once the approval is obtained from the Government, appropriate orders will be passed and therefore, requires two months time to complete the entire exercise.

3. In the light of the above submission, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
