ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this petition, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent for transfer of the case in Cr.No.802 of 2014 from the file of the 1st respondent police viz the Inspector of Police, Thiruvarur Town Police Station, Thiruvarur District to the file of Inspector of Police, CBCID, Thiruvarur or to any other competent investigating agency.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation has been completed in Crime No.802 of 2014 and a final report has been filed in C.C.No.72 of 2014 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mannargudi for the offences punishable under sections 325 and 506 (ii) IPC.

4. If the petitioner/defacto complainant is aggrieved over the same, he is given liberty to file a protest petition before the concerned Magistrate.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
