Heard Mr. D.Ramesh Kumar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Balathandayutham, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Contempt Petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 05.10.2016 in W.P. No. 35310 of 2016 passed by the Court. 3.

The Respondent has filed affidavit of action taken dated 29.06.2022 stating that as per the directions issued by the Court in the aforesaid order, the Director of College Education by letter no. 18757/F2/2018 dated 01.11.2021 had rejected the proposal for approval of the appointment of the Petitioner, which was served to the Petitioner through Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Tirunelveli and the College Secretary, Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam through e-mail on 28.06.2022 and the proof in that regard has been placed produced before the Court. In such circumstance, nothing remains for further consideration in the Contempt Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any other grievance to be redressed, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law. 4.

In fine, the Contempt Petition is closed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
