ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to consider the representation dated 30.07.2022 and pass orders.

2. Heard Mr.U.Maniyarasu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.S.Premkumar, learned counsel for the third respondent.

3. The petitioner applied for a loan in the Central Co-operative Society Bank, Manjakuppam, Cuddalore by pledging his property and he had also paid an amount of Rs.3000/- vide challan for his land valuation. The Regional Manager of the Central Co-operative Society Bank who is having previous grudge on the petitioner threatened the petitioner to withdraw the case filed by the petitioner against him, otherwise, the request for loan will be rejected. The Regional Manager made the Page No.2 of 4

petitioner to run pillar to post to receive the loan. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 30.07.2022 and the same was not considered by the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that if short time is given, the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered and orders will be passed.

5. In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed and the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
