Tax Case (Appeals) filed under Section 260 A of the Income Tax Act, 1961 against the order of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, 'B' Bench, Chennai, dated 19.12.2008 in ITA 1850/MDS/2007, 2264/MDS/2007, 2105/MDS/2007 and 2365/MDS/2007 respectively against the proceedings of the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals)II, Madurai in ITA No.496/2006-07 dated 05.09.2007 and ITA No.26/2006-07 dated 11.06.2007, against the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax Circle I, Virudhunagar for the assessment Year 2003-04 and 2004-05 dated 08.03.06 and 19.12.2008 in PAN/GIR No.AAACR5284J.

When the matters were called, Mr.P.J.Rishikesh, learned Counsel for appellant in all these appeals submitted that in view of a new scheme being introduced, he is not pressing the above appeals. However, he sought for liberty to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
prosecute these appeals, in case, the appellant is unable to pursue the newly introduced Scheme. He has also sent an e-mail requesting withdrawal of these appeals.

Recording the same, the above four Tax Case Appeals are dismissed with liberty as prayed for by the learned Counsel for the appellant.
