ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 27.12.2023 requesting the respondents to pass additional award for the acquired lands and superstructures belong to the petitioner in respect of the land comprised of S.F. No.345/ 19 admeasuring 24 Sq. meters and S.F. No.345/31B admeasuring 31 Sq. meters situated at Thazhuthazhaimedu Village,Udayarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District in accordance with the provisions of RFCTLARR Act, 2013. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would

submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the respondent within a period of 8 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.12.2023 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
