PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the communication Estt. ET/2011/11623 dated 30.06.2011 of the 2nd respondent and quash the same and directing the 2nd respondent to designate the petitioner as the Head of Department of Electronics and Instrumentation.

The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the communication Estt. ET/2011/11623 dated 30.06.2011 of the 2nd respondent and quash the same and directing the 2nd respondent to designate the petitioner as the Head of Department of Electronics and Instrumentation.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that petitioner had already retired from service and hence nothing survives in this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that nothing survives in this petition since petitioner has already retired from service, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
