This writ petition has been filed seeking quashment of the proceedings in C3/7513/2007 dated 09.04.2007 issued by the first respondent, in and by which, the petitioner was informed that he can be promoted as Junior Engineer only after he is promoted as Technical Assistant and he puts in not less than five years of service in that post, that too, based on seniority in the post of Technical Assistant.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for final hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted before this Court an undertaking affidavit given by the petitioner, wherein, the petitioner has stated unequivocally that he would withdraw all the writ petitions filed by him before this Court. The said undertaking affidavit has also been perused by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication and accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
