This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 17.08.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for the removal of the name of one K Mani, whose name has been added as a Joint Pattadarar and whereby, the extent of the property belonging to the petitioner is reduced. 2.

Heard Mr.A.Ansar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, for respondents 1 to 3. 3.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case 2/4

and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 17.08.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the said K.Mani and final orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 4.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
