ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present writ petition is filed seeking directions to the respondent to permit the petitioners to continue as adhoc faculty in the third Respondent college till the production of the first class mark sheet in M.A.English.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as part time lecturer on ad-hoc basis in the third respondent college in the year 2010. The Government in G.O.Ms. No. 290, dated 04.11.2019, issued orders granting permission for appointment of full time temporary Assistant Professor/Lecturer on contract basis. Even though the said Government Order has not specifically mentioned any educational qualification in respect of obtaining first class mark sheet, the third respondent has been insisting the first class mark sheet. Hence seeking direction, the present writ petition is filed.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has now acquired first class in Masters degree, therefore she is fully eligible as per mandatory provisions prescribed by the AICTE. The petitioner has also made representation for continuance of service as temporary lecturer till the vacancies are filled up and the same is kept pending without consideration.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the post of lecturers on regular basis will be filled up through Teachers Recruitment Board, till such time the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the steps are being taken to fill up the above said posts of temporary lecturers on regular basis, it is for the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate decision till such regular posts are filled up.
7. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
