Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of earlier proceedings made in the previous listing on 15.06.2023. 2.Mr.P.Pugalenthi, learned counsel for petitioner who is before us on a videoconferencing platform and Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for all respondents are before us. To be noted, this is a hybrid hearing.

3.Adverting to the earlier proceedings, learned Prosecutor submits that the earlier direction of this Court has been complied with as G.O.(D) No.721, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 26.06.2023 has since been made albeit rejecting the premature release prayer. 4.In the light of the rejection, we make it clear that all the rights and contentions of the petitioner / convict prisoner and anyone 1/3

concerned for the convict prisoner are preserved for challenging the rejection order in a manner known to law.

5.Recording this submission and recording compliance, we make it clear that the Registry need not list the captioned writ petition any more.
